First we'll begin with the equipment needed for a basic system. Be sure to always plan out before starting. Check what fits in your car before buying to save yourself wasted time and money. Certain places such as "crutchfield" will have a simple tool where you enter your year, make, and model and it will give you the exact size/s for your make. We should have an after market head unit(not a must but reccommended), speakers, amps, and cables such as power cable, ground cable, remote wire, rca's, speaker wire, and if your using the aftermarket head unit you would also be needing wire harnest and installation kit for radio mounting.
After you have eveything needed you will need to install the wire harnest to radio harnest during this time you want to run the rca's from sub out or rear out if sub out not available and remote which is usually blue with a white line to wherever you decide to put the amp. Run power Cable from battery to amp. Make sure to always use fuse box. Run the ground cable from the frame of car. Screw or insert all cables in there designated area and run speaker wires from amp to speaker always remembering to never cross +/- it will cause distortion or even destroy eqiupment. After all cables are installed correctly install fuse in fusebox and You should hear music. No music means installation is incorrect. If video of a system install is requested. I will be more than happy to post. Hope you find this helpful.
